Dr. Vallera did a very thorough job of going through my history with me to help me understand exactly what my current situation was and what he would be looking for in my upcoming endoscopy and colonoscopy.
Dr. Vallera is the best, very through.
I have been a patient of Dr. Vallera for about 18 years. I think he is very knowledgeable and has a good bedside manner. His staff are very friendly ..I understand different issues can arise that makes the Dr. run behind schedule, but his office is great at not letting that happen.
I know Dr Vallera for 7 yrs now and I'm very please with his knowledge and assessment of the visit.
Dr Vallera and his wonderful staff are absolutely the best health care team to deal with your gastroenterology concerns and issues. Dr Vallera is a kind and compassionate Dr who spends extra time to explain to the patient all the information regarding the issue and any diagnostic testing that is required. I tried for years to treat myself with OTC meds for acid indigestion and what I did not realize was GERD, to no avail. Dr. Vallera treated me and I had immediate relief! Thank you Dr. Vallera!
Dr. Vallera epitomizes what I believe to be the model of a Physician. He listens, he clarifies, he teaches, he explains options and possible outcomes, and his credentials and experience speak for themselves. He takes a 'total person' perspective to diagnosing and treating you. I truly feel blessed to know him as a caregiver.
Dr. Vallera has terrible bed side manner and was of no help to me. This my experience. I had a procedure done and it caused more problems and side effects. I was not given a follow-up visit to discuss the procedure with him. I thought that was strange therefore I made an appointment because I was in discomfort. I explained my symptoms and yet received an appointment an entire month out! I finally saw him and he didn't seem to care about my well being. When I tried to talk he interrupted. I left.
Dr Vallera and His staff. Amazing is not enough praise. I went to him about 10 months ago. He did a scope on me. Nurse called me 2 days later and had already scheduled me to see Surgeon. Told me I could not put it off. Saw surgeon, had surgery, caught it. removed part of colon. What great Dr. and Staff
Dr. V has been my Dr for several years and I've been very satisfied. He takes the time to explain everything, he's friendly and interested. He sends notification when it's time for a visit-sometimes 5 yrs in between. I would recommend him without reservation.
