A friend had to have his replaced knee removed because of infection after Dr. Klug's operation. Klug is a shoulder doc! Not a knee surgeon. Nine months later my friend is still in recovery from the work done by Klug.
Saw Dr.Klug in 2013, and a couple things. First, he berated me for getting injured (riding a motorcycle). Second, he read my MRI wrong, he was adamant that my PCL was torn, and was (after physical therapy) going to reconstruct my PCL. When all I needed was a meniscus surgery. Third, kept sending me to physical therapy when I kept telling him my knee was not getting better. For my first visit, I waited over and hour and he only spent 5 minutes with me, and seemed disinterested in answering questions about my shoulder issue. For my follow up visit, my chart incorrecly showed I was there for a knee issue and the staff member required me to take needless x-rays. I did not stay to see the doctor.
Did not explain the causes of my shoulder injury. Provided no indications , or even a brief explanation of how the repair was to be done. Loss confidence of doctor.
