I get the sense he already has his core patient population from my experience. He was very dismissive, squeezed my knuckles a bit and tapped one knee and one shoulder for a physical "exam." He also asked who referred me to his office (though it's listed on my chart and it wasn't my first visit) and then offered to order labs and tests that I've already had done and results were sent to him prior to my visit. I've been an RN 49 years. I took care of patients of Dr. Kieval's and am now a patient of his. He is patient, he listens and his knowledge is beyond words. If you are looking for the best rheumatologist Dr. Kieval is it. I had a type on an emergency situation and he had me in the office 3 hours later!
I missed one appointment because my sister was dying in Brigham and Women’s hospital and I forgot about it . I was told I had to pay 50 dollars , even though I told his wonderful secretary what was going on . If that’s all that matters is money than I don’t want to see him . Dr. Kieval has no compassion for his patients, it’s all about the money.
Kind and compassionate. Takes all the time you need. Former patient of Dr. Sack and miss him terribly but the whole staff was so kind when I lost it going there the first time after losing Dr. Sack, may he rest in eternal peace. So happy Dr. Kieval took on his patients .
