The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The nurse was very kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Rusynyk is an amazing Dr. He takes time to explain any concerns. I’ve used him since 2010 for my colonoscopies and have so much faith in him.

My husband's scope went great. No complications at all. We haven't had an issue with the actual doctor, it's his office! I have been trying to pay the bill. My husband called and made a payment toward the bill, on a Friday. I didnt receive an updated statement reflecting that payment. I called on a Friday to pay the remainder of the bill off. I had an upper and Lower GI series, The Hosp was wonderful, everything went fine, but Dr. Rusynyk was to meet with me or call me and he still has done so. Procedure done on the 9th of Oct, and here it is the 23rd of Oct. Was told he had to check the rest of the results, still no call. Loved his nurse, but as far as Dr. Rusynyk, he did not take the time with me and explain everything. He is the only Dr. here in Gastroenterology in Destin, Sacred Heart Hosp was great. I was a patient for many years and am very confused and little angry right now. After my gall bladder removal I was still sick w nausea and diarrhea 5 mos. later. I called the office in March 2020 and was told that the office was closed due to Covid 19 and that they did not know when they would see patients again. Great doc!. Waited about 30 mins. no problem. It's longer at my family doc. He took the time to discuss my concerns and answer my questions. His staff was helpful & respectful. Thankful to have found a good, caring doctor.

RUN......Most arrogant doctor I have ever met. Unwilling to address patients concerns in reference to invasive procedures nor will he be open minded to look in other directions to help with the patients history and concerns. Dr. Rusynyk was more concerned about law suits then about my ability to tolerate an invasive procedure. Since I would not have the procedure he dropped me as a patient to have to find another doctor.

Poor information from staff. Ended up costing me double because I had to see another Doctor after staff completely misled me.

I had an appt with dr. Saw the PA, which I had no problem with except she could not address the main reason for my appt so she tried schedule a colonoscopy so at least I got something for my visit. After I explained that my insurance wouldn't pay because it was too soon AND that was not why I was there, she agreed to run some blood work. It's been over a month and I still haven't heard back and both PA's are gone. I called and the person that answered said the Dr still hadn't looked at it.
