If you are a fan of the Mt. Sinai staff, you will be very disappointed with this doctor. He does not seem to be remotely interested in his work or patients. Any other choice you have for care would be a better option.
Dr Duara at the Wien Institute for Alzheimers diagnosed my husband at 69 years old with early Alsheimers. The medications instead of helping made him asleep all the time and he kept saying he felt his head was flying. Each appointment made me feel more and more that he was not well medicated and that the Dr. never looked at us when he spoke to us. I decided to get a second opinion at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
