Somehow when I wrote my review, it ended up on my hubby's Google profile. It was actually my review of Dr. Das, not his. I'm still not paying any more money for an appointment from 2020. If you wait 4 years to file a claim, and the insurance company denies it, too bad, so sad.
I saw Dr. Das for a while back in 2020. She was very knowledgeable and understanding of my medical condition. But last week (4 years after my last appointment with her) I received a bill! The insurance company refused to pay the claim because I don't have that insurance anymore and her office filed the claim like 2 months ago. I paid my $90 copay at my last appointment. I reached out to my old insurance company. They tried to call her office and no one answered. I can't help her office file timely insurance claims.
Became out-of-network with my insurance without any notice. Had to pay out of pocket. Poorly run and disorganized office.
The office is disorganized and honestly, a little dirty. I accompanied my mom on two visits. Both times we had to wait 45 minutes to be seen by the doctor. The purpose of the most recent visit was to get Dr. Das' review of a series of tests she ordered for my mom to take over the course of 6 weeks. When I asked about the results of the psycho-social test (which was 2 virtual appointments and 1 fairly lengthy in-person appointment), the doctor said the results weren't in yet. A very poor experience with Dr. Das. I had an initial appointment with her to discuss my background and lifelong struggle with migraines. She switched my medication and recommended an MRI. I did both and went back to see her to get updates on the new medication and get MRI results. She didn't remember who I was, what my old treatment plan was, what meds we switched to, etc. I had to reorient her to my entire condition, which felt like she didn't bother enough to look at my file before the meeting.
