I have been going here for years now and the dentists here are gentle, compassionate, concerned and respectful. Dr. Johnson and his staff has called me on the weekends, the hygienists are great and talk you through to the end using gentle effective methods, especially if you let them know that you are not a fan of the dentist. I could not imagine going anywhere else, however the only thing that may perhaps have me looking elsewhere is the front desk billing girl (I will not use her name). Takes advantage and fills cavities you don't have. Watch out this guy is out to fill his pocket with your money at the expense of your teeth. Stay away.
While Dr. Johnson is a great dentist is staff is HORRIBLE. The woman who cleaned my husband's teeth was so rough he was sore for days. My biggest complaint was with the front desk staff. They told me that I would have to pay 668.00 for a crown. I paid that in January and in MAY I received a bill for over 1100!! They said OOOPS on their part, they were wrong (they admitted to never checking with my insurance ahead of time) but since I had the work done I had to belly up and pay!! The Doctor and his Team were so caring and gentle. I would have come to the dentist sooner if I knew a visit could be so comfortable!
The staff told me I had to pay 700 for a crown and then billed me 1,200 and said the insurance would not cover the work they did. They never called and just sent me the bill and when I called to question it they apologized and said the dr should of asked the amount of time since my last crown and since it was less than 5 years the insurance would not pay.
