I was admitted to the hospital with a diagnosis of right lung visceral pieura and parietal pieura. I am so fortunate to have had Dr. Randall Buss as my physician. He truly is a wonderful surgeon and I am happy to say he returned me back to normal health. His team of physicians provided the assistance to make this surgery a success. The entire staff helped me through a recovery with care. I can't say enough about how gratified I am with Dr. Buss and his team.

If you want someone who's warm and fuzzy, you might want to look elsewhere. If you want a first rate surgeon who's well experienced and highly qualified, he's your guy. I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience.

My mother went in because she had a calcified aorta. The first time he saw her, it was really bad and she needed surgery as soon as possible. The next time she went in, now it wasn't that bad and elective. This woman was having trouble getting across the house without getting out of breath. Should have known then it was going to be bad. The surgery took longer than it was supposed to, and then my mom bled out from the inside. I can't recommend this surgeon. My mom isn't here to not recommend him

LACK OF CONCERN AND ATTENTION PRIOR DURING AND AFTER PROCEDUER. YOU DO NOT WANT THIS MAN OPERATING ON YOUR FAMILY. SINCE MY PROCEDURE I HAVE HAD MANY OTHERS CONFIRM WHAT I NOW KNOW. IF YOU HAVE TIME SEEK OTHER CARE.

Highly recommend Dr. Buss for surgery, he seems to be excellent at what he does. However, please go out of your way to get informed about what to expect post-surgery, as in my experience, I was not sufficiently informed. In addition, be proactive about your health and any signs of infection that may arise post surgery. My signs were not given enough attention by the staff and this became life threatening. In a word, please find additional resources and expertise to guide you through post-surgery
