Dr. Pitts did my cataract surgery more than 20 years ago. My lens are still as good as the day of surgery. I moved to north Alabama and regretfully no longer am his patient but the doctor the he referred me to is impressed with how well my eyes are doing. Still don't need glasses after wearing bifocals before the surgery. I'm 84.
Dr. Pitts was so kind and patient with my Mom. She has recently had an altered mental status event and is having vision problems. He worked diligently to try to figure out some way to help her.

Dr. Pitts is an excellent M.D. specializing in Ophthalmology, everything to do with eyes. He is so nice and down to earth, doesn’t meet a stranger. He treats you like he’s known you all his life. So hard to find in Drs these days. I have worn glasses and contacts my entire life (50+ years). As I got older I developed cataracts on both eyes and needed cataract surgery. After Dr. Pitts performed cataract surgery to remove the cataracts and inserted the Lens implants I can now see 20/20 both eyes with no correction. That to me ... read more
