I explained upfront that I needed reconstructive surgery through insurance. They canceled my appointment—then called me back the next day saying I should still come in, assuring me the doctor could work with me. So I drove 3 hours round-trip from Boca, only for Dr. Ramiro Perez to walk in, not even look at me, and say insurance won’t cover anything—I’d have to pay out of pocket.
