Dr Grossman has been taking care of my son for over 7 years now and I remember reading the reviews and thought no way however I took my son for a consultation and never made a follow-up appointment. When things got bad, I called and begged for his help. He is the only doctor who helped me to get services for my son. He moved to Nassau University Center and I followed him all the way to East Meadows. I am grateful for all he has done for me.
This doctor and his workers are absolutely terrible people, they have no professionalism at all whatsoever. Dr. Grossman told me I could request a refill whenever I wanted to online, and I ran out of my meds recently, so I did. They denied my request just because I haven’t seen him… I called the office and explained to them that I couldn’t make it to the appointment I had this month b/c my mom was getting surgery and some snooty lady on the line said to me “You still could’ve come to the appointment though.” Like hello?! HORRIBLE! If I could give no stars I would He is NASTY and thinks he knows everything and he KNOWS NOTHING! I am writing this review NOW because I'm SO glad my gut instinct told me not to listen him. When my son was 2 I brought my son in for an evaluation (keep in mind, he's 2). My son and I waited 90 minutes and then Dr. Grossman asked 5 questions i.e. Can your son ride a bike? I said "A 2 year old can ride a two-wheeled bike? He dismissed me and then asked 4 more ridiculous questions and then brought us back to the waiting... read more
If I could give zero stars I would. I have the same complaints as everyone else. Communication with his office is the worst. I've spent a considerable amount of time trying to get these people to talk to me and when they finally respond its radio silence. The staff and the doctor are so unresponsive and rude. I've been hung up on, sent to voicemail, couldn't send voicemails, left unresponsive for literal weeks. When I asked about other treatment options besides stimulants I was legitimately yelled at.
