I would not recommend this cardiology group!! Communication and accountability is terrible! They do not display any care or concern about possible emergencies. They just say we will call you back and then they don’t. Truly unacceptable and unprofessional!
I can’t even begin to explain how disgusted I am with this doctor and his bed side manner. My grandma has been admitted twice in the last two months to ICU with severe life threatening illnesses- include severe heart issues. The amount of times our family had to ask to please speak with her cardiologist- we have questions and concerns as a family. We deserve to see a doctor. And the amount of times the nurses would say he should be in today, the next day- he should be in today. And days and days go by and doctor comes on. Co... read more
I really dislike writing reviews but I feel this man is worthy of it. Upon the second visit to Mr Akels office, he whipped into the room with his pin stripe skinny suite and Gucci shoes. My dads health was declining and we knew this. But, myself being a healthcare provider, one can never give up hope. This guy looked right at me and my ailing father and said “we’re all gonna die!!” So, guess what happened shortly after that visit …..my dad gave up and died.
