Worst so-called "medical professional" I've ever seen. Only interested in writing prescriptions and doesn't really listen at all. A lot of times he would be busy doing other things, like rummaging through his desk, while we're in a session. I don't know how he keeps his license.
I've been a patient of Dr. Kongara's for 19 years. When other psychiatrists misdiagnosed me for years and my condition got worse and worse. I began to feel hopeless about getting better. What a blessing to have found him. First he treated me with kindness and compassion. He diagnosed me correctly. I then found out what was going on with me. I have bi-polar and gad. Amazing care. I love Liz the therapist as well. I see Dr. Neil. Lots of resources, and minimal medication. Not a pill farm like some places
I am a mental health professional who has referred & trusted Dt Rama Kongara with my patients for over 30 years . He is an excellent diagnostician , great with his knowledge of medications for all psychiatric medications . He stays updated with the latest information for treating his patients including all of mine for over 30 years .
I have been a patient of Dr Kongara for over a year. He is very professional and nice. I rarely have to wait more than ten minutes past my appointment time, and it is not uncommon for him to see me early. The only two concerns I have are his staff and the lack of e-scripts. I have had to return written scripts three times in the last year due to being rejected by the pharmacy for various errors. His staff also will not call a pharmacy or insurance company if requested.
I gave this place one star.. Altho I did not actually meet Mr.Kongara I met with Lisa Chavis the nurse practitioner and she was horrible!! She was rude, didnt listen at all, and tried to prescribe me meds that were way strong and did not meet my needs at all! I am only thankful that I was smart anought to google the meds before I continue to take them after only a day or so. Tho I wish I would have sooner.
