Going to this dentist was a traumatic experience we’ll spend years trying to undo with my young son.
The receptionist was very rude and unfriendly. She even took the liberty of scolding my 2 toddlers! The DR spent no time talking to my 3 year old and making her feel at ease. He just walked in and started poking around her mouth. Their treatment plan involved giving my child codeine and strapping her into a toddler straight-jacket in case it had a reverse effect. The office is very scary. The first time I visited with my three year old there was a child screaming in the back room for quite some time. The dentist is not flexible with the needs of the parent or the children. They require all children be given codeine before the visit "to relax them". They also require that you sign a paper that gives the dentist permission to restrain the child with hands, and cover the child's mouth with a hand. If there is an option for less than one star, I will go for it. Dr. Ergas is the worst doctor we ever met in US. He is very rude and impatient. My son almost got hurt during his first visit. He required parents to firmly hold his arms and legs. My son kept screaming. He used a sharp tool to examine the tooth, while my son was moving his tongue in his mouth. It was so dangerous. We will never ever go back again. NOT recommend to any parents. NOT even try once.
Worst dentist I've ever been too. Would not let me in with my daughter. Sends assistant out to tell you about your child. After getting a filling my daughter had to have it redone 2 years later b/c it failed. Would give him a zero if I could! Very rude. Insurance: Blue Cross / Blue Shield

Ralph Ergas is verbally abusive to his child patients as well as their parents to the point of yelling and throwing things. Its is an awful place to bring your children to. He uses a threatening manor to intimidate your child into doing what he needs and it is completely uncalled for. Do not subject your kids to this abuse, I wish I had done my reasearch before making my appointment.
