I gave three stars because I had a very pleasant experience with the Dr. but checking out wasn't great. When I scheduled the appt for my teenage son, I explained we relocated from another state, this office is listed thru our insurance, and my son is due for his exam so he can update his RX and order more contacts and update his lenses. Upon checking out, I was told there is a $75 "contacts exam fee". I argued that this was never disclosed to me at time of making my appt or while checking in to the appt. Great bedside manner. I have so much anxiety about having my eyes touched and Dr. Maynard explains every test/procedure so well and is so quick that before I even have time to worry about it he's already done. Highly recommend. I won't go anywhere else.
