This man has no idea what he’s doing. He yelled at my brother for seeing a general practitioner for his physical health and told him if he wants to get better then he can only see him. Told him the only way for him to deal with PTSD, depression, and anxiety was to go to college and get a woman because women only like college men. Spends more time golfing than with his patients. Put him on such large quantities of drugs he didn’t even know what he was taking. My brother expressed he was worried about new extreme anger managem... read more

I decided to look for a new psychiatrist to help me with my anxiety and panic attacks. I was referred to Charak Center and can tell you firsthand they really know what they're doing! They were incredibly thorough during my intake interview. The staff at the Medina office were very polite and professional. I was surprised that they actually took the time to listen and seemed genuinely interested in my well-being. I am now a full-time patient with them and could not be happier. I have struggled with anxiety and panic attacks f... read more

He encouraged my drug use. and offered to prescribe me an amount of xanax that would eventually off me. Very rude, condescending, and violates hippa.

I have gone to this psych office for years. They have helped me getting stabilized on my medications. I am currently seeing the head doctor and he is great! I would definitely recommend him. There are some other good providers there as well. The case management has helped me with dealing with needs like food, clothing and helping with applying for housing and assistance programs in my area. They also took me to places that I needed to go when I didn't have access to a car. Some offices do not provide case management like the... read more

Please avoid if you want legitimate, thorough medical care. Walked in and was immediately asked to give a urine sample, even though I never indicated any drug abuse history and scheduled an appointment for anxiety issues. Spent over an hour detailing my mental health history to a student, who then summarized the case to Dr. Ranjan in maybe about two minutes. He proceeded to ask me if I ever “hoarded” and minimized all of the specific issues I talked about. Was told to triple my medication dose overnight (which previously too... read more

Dr. Ranjan has been the change I sought for several years. After arriving at total exhaustion with my previous MD's ineffective hamster wheel of bottom lines, rote rhetoric and answers dissuading unique thinking, I was resigned to never finding someone like Dr. Ranjan & Charak Center for Wellness. I left my former doctor appointments knowing I'd wasted precious time- down the drain- with doctors incapable of hearing or being receptive to my actual medical/wellness needs. Dr Ranjan and his wellness centers are refreshingly th... read more

My daughter was in a Substance Induced Psychosis which I was told after two hospital visits (Windsor and Akron's) that she would not get better and advised that I begin the Guardianship process and that she would need to be in a long term care facility. I disagreed. When she was discharged from Akron's I took family medical leave and stayed with her 24/7. My daughter was referred to Dr. Ranjan post discharge. Dr. Ranjan is The Man! My daughter is no longer in a psychosis and is completing her Senior Year! Fantastic, compassi... read more
