My fiance had been in agonizing pain with his back and legs for two years. He had a difficult time walking, sitting and standing. Nothing seemed to help until he met Dr. Rahmam. At first Dr. R. treated him with steroid injections but the injections only lasted for a while. After awhile Dr. R and my fiance decided that is was time for surgery. In September, 2014, I suddenly experienced extreme pain in my upper back, radiating down my arm. I had retired only 3 months prior, and I found myself nearly unable to function. My NP ordered X-rays and an MRI which indicated I needed to be referred to a surgeon ASAP. My mother had had emergency spinal fusion surgery in 2011 at Barnes-Jewish in Saint Louis. I had a great experience with Dr. Rahman. He solved all of my issues with a pinched nerve. It was totally my decision to finally have the surgery after suffering for many months! I felt no pressure from him at all. I would highly recommend him.
