He is great with understanding medicated therapy not all problems can be handled yourself and sometimes we need medication to help
Was first Doctor to actually listen. Two others misdiagnosed me, kept upping scripts which hurt me. Dr Kothari worked through things until it worked. Saved my life as such. Grateful.
You’ll wait too long in a broken down waiting room with torn stained carpet, lights burnt out, cobwebs on lamps, chipped paint on the walls and chairs made in the 60’s. They’ll call you back to a Buddhist psychiatrist who barely speaks English and won’t remember your name. My sister referred me and when I said her name he asked me to repeat it and still had no idea who I was talking about. Not good, was not professional and seemed confused.
I've been seeing Dr. R Kothari for about 4 years now. He is patient and will listen to what you say and try to come up with compromises if something doesn't work for you. He will e-script meds over to you pharmacy for you, or print them off for you to hand walk them. His office staff is wonderful. He shares them with his wife and the staff are very friendly and will help you as much as they can. I’ve had two prescriptions written incorrectly, to the point that my pharmacy wouldn’t fill them. This left me without medication, as I had to wait for the office to reopen. In order to get the right prescription/refill, I had to go back into the office for a second visit and got charged for this visit, even though the staff double-checked and it said in the doctor’s notes that I should have been prescribed a refill. Which means I had to pay ~$125 for a second visit due to the doctor’s error.
Not only brilliant. Does not judge his patients Kind to everyone. Saved my life and others I know. Would not be here without DrK. Gives100 percent to all his patients
Dr Kotari is absolutely the best Dr I have ever went too. Not only has he helped with my bi-polar mania he had shown so much compassion as I have suffered with the shingles, and anxiety. He is more concerned with my well being than my family physician. Those that want to do the work themselves and don’t want addictive drugs but the medicine that heals their brain and allows a healthy life will succeed with him. Those who are looking for a quick fix will not. Thank you Dr Kotari
