Dr. Dua is the worst physician I have ever encountered. I went to him because my regular physician was unavailable and I wanted to see someone quickly because the nail on my big toe had fallen off (the entire nail...completely off). He said he didn't know what it was because the nail was no longer there! I asked him if it could have been because of a fungal infection and he said he couldn't say without seeing the nail. I have only seen Dr. Dua twice but have had a very good experience with him so far. His staff has been courteous, I have not had long wait times, he spends more than a sufficient amount of time with me and is very good about explaining his plans and answering my questions. I'm writing this because if I had seen these reviews I would not have seen him but looking after the fact I know this is not the norm and wanted to make sure other patients aren't deterred.
Dr. Dua does not return phone calls because they're not reimbursable by the insurance company. He has an extremely poor bed-side manner, and makes it clear that he's more concerned about padding his wallet than actually caring for his patients. He speaks to his patients in a very condescending way and does not take the time to listen to their concerns. His staff are unprofessional, incompetent, and extremely rude. Dr Rajiv Dua is at best condescending. I took the trouble to maintain a log of my health issues/symptoms hoping he would take the time to put two and two together, but he was just in a rush to get to the next patient and so ordered a regular blood work. Dr. Dua doesnt hear you, doesnt care for you, just wants to get to the next person in line. A perfect gold digger. And the staff? A bunch of ill trained, ill mannered, lethargic morons.
With all possible sincerity, I believe that Dr. Dua should be fired, medical license revoked and possibly convicted on the grounds of professional misconduct. I had brain surgery recently, and consulted Dua for advice. He gave no useful advice. In fact, he barely talked to me, spending more time on the computer and chatting staff for about 45 minutes. First of all, I waited over an hour to be seen. Then, as a new patient I started going over my medical history and he literally asked me "what this had to do with why I was there that day!" I was flabbergasted especially considering it had everything to do with the reason I was there. He was out the door and talking to one of the nurses about lunch before I could even begin to ask questions I had. This doctor spent more time typing in his computer than looking at me. Very cold, unfriendly and had one foot out the door. This way my first and last visit with him.
Dr. Dua's office staff is horrible! The Clinical Operations Office Manager, Ken Brown, will treat you bad and will make you feel like you are the one bothering them! The staff will hang up with you or leave you on hold. Dr. Dua will make you keep comming back so he can "look" at you so he can keep getting your health provider's money and your co-payments. Please think twice before you go see this doctor!!!!!!!
