Don’t bother bringing your loved ones here. This guy spoke with my little sister for about 30 seconds before prescribing a medication that was of no help. Every session was the same bland questions that felt more like a checklist rather than any type of analysis. Most of the dialogue was with me during these sessions, unlike the psychiatrist we visit now who shows empathy and interest in grasping her experiences and perspective. If I could give lower than 1 star, I would. Dr Rafiq and his staff have no empathy and do not care if you don’t have your medications. Their unresponsiveness in the office is very concerning and unprofessional.

I have been very impressed with the responsiveness, advocacy, and care that Dr. Rafiq has treated my child and our family with. We have been working with Dr. Rafiq for close to a year. When I had concerns about a medication for my child, we talked through them and alternatives were offered without an issue. This family appreciates his kindness and care beyond words!
