Dr. Unda Rivera is the best doctor I have ever had. He is straightforward and genuinely cares about me and my baby. He tries to explain medical things more understandably and simply. He is very responsive to questions that I had and comforted me with his experience and knowledge when I had to go to Minnesota Perinatal Physicians for further tests. I experienced some spotting early in my first pregnancy prior to my first OBGYN. My primary told me this could happen, but to contact them right away if I experienced it. We had spotting over a weekend and I contacted my primary on Monday morning to see if it was something to worry about or not. She wanted me seen right away and got me scheduled same day with Dr. Unda Rivera. He all but rolled his eyes at me in the office visit and kept saying 'I don't know why you're here'. My wife and I came here to consult about gynecological uterine problems and treatment. This doctor was very unprofessional and impatient, and he also had problems with emotional management. My wife and I both have bachelor's and master's degrees, and we tried our best to be polite and professional in our expressions, but this doctor’s reply made us very disappointed. I have never had such a bad medical experience. I would not recommend anyone to come here and be insulted by him.

this guy made me feel uncomfortable. he was rude, ignorant of how hospitals in other countries do medical check ups, didn't help me one bit, and also zero sensitivity on the subject of me having a tumor on my ovaries. if I could give him a negative 100 score I would.

Dr. Rivera started off my first prenatal visit by telling me to focus on losing weight. I am 13 weeks pregnant, and shared with him that lim down about 12lbs from all day morning sickness. He responded by telling me he is 'not concerned about weight loss from illness." He continued with this by saying because of my BMI (which is 32), I need to start taking a daily baby aspirin to prevent preeclampsia. I was seeking information on prenatal genetic screening and information about risks of inherited diseases, instead I was given political opinions and felt extremely judged, "well even if you could test for things, it's not as if you'd do anything about it," was exactly what he said. I received no sound medical advice, and I'd urge women seeking health care to see anyone else. Extremely disappointed in this doctor.

Do not recommend if plus-size - all focus was on weight and not baby. Appointment was rushed and makes you feel like you are not important. Overall, makes you feel less-than and unimportant because of the way you look. Do not reccommend.

Do not recommend. As soon as the nurse left the room at the end of the exam, he made inappropriate comments and asked extremely inappropriate personal questions that were not at all related to the reason for my appointment.
