I had a disastrous appointment with Dr. Pauls, who does not listen. She cuts me off when talking, and she abruptly left the room without answering all of my questions. The recommended treatment was NOT fully explained to me. I was told AFTER the first (very painful) treatment that there would be 5 more visits to repeat. I do not trust Dr. Pauls because she didn't even take the time to discuss and let me make an informed decision. The time to tell me the full information is before the decision point, not after. I was in so mu... read more

I had two visits with this surgeon. The procedures were painful, though I normally have a strong pain threshold. She looked annoyed when I winced or showed any kind of human response. When it was time for me to ask questions about the surgery being proposed, she became impatient and irritated by me. She stared at me as if I was incompetent and should not have the gall to ask anything at all. “Everything has risk.” By the end of the second visit, I was left feeling like I was little more than a sale on the books. I’ve decided ... read more

Unfortunately, after many years, I cannot forget how this WOMAN treated me. She was rude, demeaning and just plain hateful that she was seeing me instead of the physician that did my surgery. It was not my fault the appointment was made with her. She was hateful. The treating physician called to apologize for her rudeness because he had heard from the NURSES about how rude she was. I would never go to her or send anyone there that I know. Not even an enemy.

She practically made me have a hysterectomy. I regret my choice as I didn't know I wasn't done having children.

Such an awful experience. It was a 90 minute appt and I only got to talk to her for about 5 minutes. It felt rushed. She didn't listen to me, frequently cut me off while speaking. She didn't address my main concern, then told me perhaps I was "imagining" my symptoms. She didn't explain her diagnosis to me, or fully explain treatment options. I left feeling confused, like it got me nowhere and I was back to square one. The most upsetting part was in my My Chart notes she wrote up a summary of the things we discussed, saying s... read more

She seems kind one minute but then you ask a question she thinks is stupid and she looks at you like an alien. She swings hot to cold and has no compassion. She wants to shew you out if it’s not a cut and dry case. She acted like I was a pill seeker. Really? I’ve never taken pain pills in my life. I simply told her how bad it was and she wanted nothing to do with me. maybe she should educate the patient on why the pain is occuring and the options. If it’s not in her wheel house than explain that. But vaginas and bladders are... read more

I had my feet in the stirrups vagina out and a nurse opened up the door. Instead of the doctor saying she was doing an exam and I was in a compromising position she kept talking to the nurse and I had to cover myself up so nobody in the hallway could see me! That was bad enough but she was also very cold. I left the appointment in tears.
