I first found Dr Rachael Haverland on Instagram with her sharing knowledge and awareness about endometriosis that made me feel like I wasn't making up my symptoms. I later heard about her again when my primary doctor referred me to her. I made an appointment with her and after meeting with her I finally felt hope that I would finally get answers after 15+ years of not being heard by doctors. Dr. Haverland is amazing!! She is so thorough and immediately puts you at ease, I would recommend her to anyone needing excision surgery. During my recovery whenever I had a question or when I needed more anti-nausea medicine she was quick to respond and help me. Prior to meeting her, my gynecologists I had seen over the years never suspected I had endometriosis. And it turns out it’s probably been the root of my issues for years.
Dr. Haverland is one of a kind! She is the most kind, caring, compassionate and empathetic doctor I have ever had. I traveled out of state and could not be happier with my decision to have her do my excision surgery. I went into surgery not knowing what she would find but she alleviated all my fears. She ended up finding quite a bit to fix and she was able to remove all of the endo! She is highly skilled and I am doing amazing 8 weeks post surgery. I have been struggling for 24 years with endometriosis. Feeling hopeless from previous doctors, I reached out to Dr. Haverland as my last hope. Not only did I feel heard but she made me feel comfortable with her knowledge and skills when no one else had. I am currently 3 weeks post op and I have never felt this great in my life! Thanks to Dr. Haverland, I have finally gotten my life back! I have and will continue to sing her praise and refer her to anyone suffering from this horrific disease!
This disease can be so complex and no matter how long you've had it it still doesn't make total sense! I am very grateful I was able to find dr Haverland. She helped me immensely the disease was much worse than what we expected having only been 4 years since previous surgery.( with another excision specialist) Dr Haverland gave me immediate relief from what I had been feeling!
