Was referred by another dr for Mohs procedure on my back. Staff was pleasant but Dr Patel … well she is a different story. Walked in the room with a mask on - didn’t bother to introduce herself or explain the procedure. Not one time called me by name and never asked how I was doing while she was doing the procedure. Finished up and left without saying a word. I have been a nurse for 50 yrs and I have never met such an unprofessional doctor
Dr. Patel is wonderful! Her commitment to giving the most professional care always makes me feel like she is listening and taking me seriously. I am so grateful for her expertise! She is an excellent dermatologist and my skin looks fabulous.
She spent maybe 3 minutes with me. She wasn’t interested in my questions. Dismissive attitude. I won’t go back.
I went in to have an excision on my lower leg for an early stage melanoma. The day of the surgery she rushed in after they numbed my leg. She felt very rushed during the procedure and barely spoke to me. When she was done sewing up my leg she immediately left. My wound turned black within 4 days and when I returned she told me it was normal.They didn’t remove the stitches. Kept saying it wasn’t “ready”. Dr. Patel was rude and insensitive. I was scheduled to remove a non cancerous lipoma. Dr. Patel assured me that the lump would return despite what I have read from reputable websites stating lipomas rarely return if it is removed in it’s entirety. It almost seemed as if she was trying to convince me to not have it removed as if she had better things to do. Dr. Patel was in a hurry and I felt she was condescending. I had minor noncancerous lesions so I guess I wasn't worth her time. I wanted to ask her more questions but she was on the run. When she used the liquid nitrogen I told her it hurt and I would like time to catch my breath. She was unconcerned and just wanted to finish quickly. I have heard she is a good doctor but she seems unconcerned and non caring. Her nurse was nice and was better at providing information.

I completed my paperwork in advance and was seated with the doctor within 5 minutes. She was kind and knowledgeable. The facility was very busy and clean and it was a great visit.
Very satisfied with Dr.Patel and her staff and highly recommend them. They are thorough, professional, and do great work. Melanie is an excellent PA, also very thorough and professional. My and I trust them, and their advice and care. Highly recommend them.
