I’ve read all the reviews on her and they’re all horrible however my daughter has seen a fair share of neurological doctors and they were nice good bedside manner but not wanting to get to the root of my daughters condition so I took a chance on change and went to her and yes she’s very forward to the point and when you sit I. I had symptoms of spinal cord compression & she wouldn’t order tests. She called me lazy & obese even though these were also symptoms of what was going on in my spine. It wasn’t until she had another Dr filling in for her that I finally started getting answers. That Dr ordered a MRI of my cervical spine and I had to start getting treatment. 20 min visit with no testing, have ppo and went for own sake to test post Covid symptoms. Won't let you speak, refused to accept that I have no head injuries. " think before you speak".. no family history of epilepsy or seizures. 15 min of the visit was me being humiliated for not taking the covid shot. Said I must take medication for seizures and threatened to pull DL. Very rude and unprofessional, most disgusting interaction with any human being in my lifr.highly recommend any other neurologist.
This is the best doctor I have seen in a long time I have bin to many doctors at least a dozen and this doctor hit it on the head for me she is just great
I would not take my DOG to this so called neurologist the office is filthy and old I ask to use the restroom they pointed me outside and to the left. This doctor was rude and had no bedside manner at all why Big Bear Valley Community Hospital uses this provider is beyond me. This so called doctor was rude, abrasive and I’m surprised she is an MD.
Very rude. Won't answer any questions. Yelled at me,wouldn't let me talk and the whole office was looking. I left this appointment in tears. She tried to diagnose me and give me medication on my first visit with no test results. Ignored me and wouldn't leave the room when so I could get dressed. By far the worst experience I've had with any Dr. After my experience and reading many other reviews stay away!
Dr Thakran is not only very professional but, when you open up to her about other issues in your life, she helped me with my depression. She's sturn but, has a soft side. She's helped me in many was and that's what a true Dr does for their patients. Because of her, my tremors are under control and my depression is on a good path with her medical advice and medications. I appreciate you Dr Thakran and your staff. Thank you
I find her to be competent and honest. When I was having difficulty getting prescriptions filled due to lack of followup to the pharmacy by the doctors who actually prescribed the meds, she went out of her way to see that I got my needed medications. She does not hesitate to tell me, that I need to lose weight, be on a sensible diet etc. She gives good, honest medical advice and treatment. If I wanted someone to use words to make me feel good about myself, I would go elsewhere, not to a doctor.
Thakran fails to listen to what I have to say about my health/seizure activity. Once you do what she's asked pertaining to details she shrugs it off. All she's done is maxed my dosages of medications. She seems as if she's more of a pill pusher than anything else. I feel like a Guinea pig. When I was being specific like she'd been so much wanting her exact words were "I'd love to sit, and talk with you but I have a plane ?? to catch".
