Personally I think Dr. Neel Dharia is the best Dr. I have ever had because he treats me like a person, not a patient. While at the same time being very professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Bhalla is exceptional at looking at you, the patient, as a whole person, not just his specialty. He is very strategic in recommending things to consider regarding vaccines and future preventative testing or blood work review. I really appreciate his compassionate approach and professional guidance. I also like that he keeps my other doctors like my PCP, updated on my condition from his perspective I have recommended him to numerous people at different times and for different reasons. Keep up your great work Dr. Bhalla.
If you go to this doctor, expect lengthy wait times. If you have a 9:00 am appointment, you may be seen sometime around 1 pm or later. Once in the exam room, don't be surprised if he is texting someone else on his phone while you are trying to speak with him about your cancer/cancer treatment. If you look in any way put out, expect to be lectured about how much worse off other people are than you. I don’t know why I had the luck to stumble onto dr. Polowy when I got diagnosed with breast cancer last year. But I am forever thankful it happened. Ok, you have to wait sometimes a little longer, but I rather have good care than being in and out fast. The staff is great, friendly, helpful, professional and make a bad situation as positive as possible. I always know now, what to be thankful for on thanksgiving. I had some health concerns and my primary care DR. recommended Dr. Bhalla. They referred me for MRI and CT scan in addition to blood work. The testing was very thorough and DR. Bhalla and his PA were very kind and explained the results in detail. All my questions were answered, and I left feeling like my health really mattered. The office is well organized and timely. No endless waiting for your appointment. Well done!!!!
I have been seeing Dr. Bhalla for over 10 years, during all visits he simplifies and explains the test results for specific visit. He makes me feel confident with whatever surgeries were recommended. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is searching for an excellent Oncologist.

Dr. Bhalla has been my oncologist for the last 7-1/2 years and was always by my side during my chemotherapy and radiation treatments. He gave me the confidence through his positive attitude and knowledge of my treatment plan and then remission to last for years to come. Dr. Bhalla is the reason that I am healthy and living my life like I did before I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Thank you Dr. Bhalla and all of Ironwood.
