What a difference in care to find a doctor that actually cares. She listens and follows through. So disallisioned after the uncaring doctors at Peace Health for primary care. The specialists that I have had there have been good.
It is wonderful to be with a direct primary care provider like Dr. Carden. Not only are phone calls/emails returned promptly, but there is no waiting for an appointment that takes as long as it takes--NOT the insurance-mandated 15 minutes. I mean it when I say that Dr. Carden is the ONLY doctor who has actually helped me in years. She is smart, persistent, & cares as much about quality-of-life issues as about life-threatening situations.
I ran around getting all my records to her two weeks before initial visit as requested. She said she likes to be thorough and review everything before the initial visit. The she was 20 minutes late for the first apt after lunch, had to check he phone messages first, and had not even looked at any of my records. Needless to say I was disappointed.
I have recommended Dr. Carden to friends and colleagues.
Dr. Carden is knowledgeable, available and insightful in a working relationship with me. Her referrals to specialists are appropriate and well informed.
Dr Carden is the best. She has taken care of me for the last 2 years and is genuinely concerned with my well being. She always treats me with respect and dignity, thank you Dr Carden.
Supposedly the boutique model is more personal but I didn’t find this true. During my final visit, she seemed defensive about a billing mistake that had nothing to do with me and just looked at me like, “Ok, why are you here?” She gave me a diet to follow and said, “that’s all I have for you.” You could get a good clinic doctor to spend as much time with you. I didn’t use the service enough and then she raised her rate so I canceled. Disappointing.
Dr Carden takes time to explain everything I questioned her about, offered some suggestions, and said that she remains available for anything else I might need. She is gracious, knowledgeable, and engenders confidence.
