Took my daughter (14) to see him for possible septoplasty. She was under my wife’s insurance and we confirmed with the office they were in network. I recently used my insurance to get a septoplasty for myself with another provider and we could tell things seemed off so we decided not to proceed with surgery in March 2024. This is my first Google review. Their office is horrible about getting back to you. Here I am, weeks after multiple CT scans, waiting for my results to see if the mass in my body is cancer or not. I call in everyday and no one answers. No one calls back.
I was helping a mbr provide the correct new mbr ID number for staff to bill insurance on a 3 way call. Before l could finish all the numbers to verify, she cut me off and said this is not the info that the patient gave me. Patient politely states that this is the correct number l provided. Staff then said Sr you are very difficult and we are declining your service and hung up phone. I had to apologize to the mbr because I felt his hurt and frustration as well. I sat in that office for 2.5 hours past my appointment time for him to barely look at me, ignore my specific concerns, and rush me out.
I saw Dr. Mock in early November. After getting a face MRI, he told me I would need a Septoplasty and turbinate reduction. Dr. Mock was pleasant, but once I was handed off to his admin to set up my surgery, that’s when it all went downhill. She assured me that she would call me with the pricing and compare how much the surgery would cost if I got it in 2024 or at the start of 2025.
