Dr Srivastava operated on my knee (Orthoscopic surgery to shave the meniscus) and it is since more than 5 months that the pain has not gone. In fact it worsened my knee problem. There are no videos form Chippenham hospital for him to have a review of surgery proceedings. Don't know what happened. Its an excuse I believe. I should have taken a second opinion before letting him perform the surgery. Be selective while approaching Dr Praveer. I don't recommend him to anyone
I have seen Dr. Srivastava 1 time recently. He was professional, yet empathetic to my hip pain after seeing xrays. He will do my hip Replacement. Why is bedside manner more important than medical care?
Choosing Dr. Srivastava for my hip replacement surgery was one of the best decisions I could have made. The pre-surgery advice and guidance I received was extremely helpful to me and my wife. The surgery was without incident and the recovery has been excellent. I would certainly seek Dr. Srivastava again and recommend him for others.
Dr. Srivastava has been my doctor for the last 13 years. He always has my interest at heart and gives sound advice as to how to handle my problems. He is, in my opinion as excellent Orthopedic Surgery. I would reccomend him to everyone.
Caring and professional great personality, my wrist is doing great. I broke my wrist at work, he took great care of all my concerns.
I would not recommend Dr. Srivastava to anyone, he has a terrible bedside manner. He is very condescending and non-sympathetic. The day of my surgery, I did not see him before and only briefly that evening and never again during my stay in the hospital. Run, don't walk to another doctor to get a second opinion before letting him operate.
Although the surgery and visits so far have been uneventful, Dr. Srivastava would not give any pain medication for a complete distal rupture stating that in the week waiting for surgery to take Tylenol. Then after surgery only gave enough for 6 days of relief and won't give anymore. I understand the opioid epidemic, and abuse, however, this is a legitimate injury. Having to use alcohol now to drink away the pain is the only way to get partial relief and that's not a good alternative. So sad.
Dr. Srivastava was very helpful in addressing my knee problems but the 2.5 hour wait was frustrating.
Dr. Srivastava is knowledgeable and personable. He listens well and provides responsive answers. He met with me the morning of surgery, checked on me the evening of the surgery and the morning following the surgery. Each time he was supportive, informative, and comforting. When I called his office following the surgery with a concern, I was put through directly to him. He listened carefully and responded in a comprehensive and caring manner. Dr. Srivastava is #1 in my opinion - recommend highly!
