I had a problem that no other doctor could find what was wrong. I went to Dr. Mettu and he found my problem. I am very thankful that I went to him.
First of all, the office notified me by mail of my medical condition. No phone call. No message on my e-chart.. A LETTER IN THE MAIL. This is extremely impersonal. When I called for more information I had to book an appointment with the nurse practitioner. I asked for my doctor to see me and the office was shocked that I wanted to speak to my doctor. Second, the billing department is atrocious. My husband and I have been going back and fourth with Mary Ann for MONTHS. She has zero clue at this point. My insurance covers near... read more
Dr. Mettu and staff were great. Very professional, explained everything clearly. Made me feel very much at ease in their care.
Dr. Mettu was excellent. First he put my mind at ease pre diagnosis when I was worried. Post diagnosis he was thorough in describing treatment plan and what it entails as well as what to expect in the future. On top of all of that he is just a straight up cool guy. Will use him as my gastro as long as im in northern illinois. Cant forget about tricia his assistant. She is a lovely person, professional, and very responsive. Overall a fantastic experience at suburban gastro! Highly recommend.
