Dr. Patel was the only general physician my husband would ever see for 21 years. He loved and trusted Dr. Patel. He's been my physician a few years now. I've never had a problem with him or his wonderful, friendly staff. I do see the Dr. at least once or twice a year. I have no problem seeing a PA (physician's assistant). They are an extension of the DR. and are highly trained to do their job. Having a PA(s) just means your Dr. is in high demand, like Dr. Patel is. Thank you all for taking such wonderful care of my dear husb... read more
Dr Patel assisted me when I had an emergency on an airplane. Flight attendant asked if medical professionals were onboard. for an hour he sat next to me and kept taking my pulse and reassuring me I would be ok. he never got back up to back to sit with his wife, just stayed at my side on his way to a vacation. I am in process of making him my new primary. we landed in NJ and got assessed by EMT's and for some reason my oxygen levels had given way due to altitude issues. I'm very grateful for doctor Patel.
My, dad, sister, brother and my wife and kids have been seeing Dr. Patel for 26 years recieving great care from him and the office staff. I highly recommend their team.
Dr. Patel we liked. Office staff rude & unethical. Was billed for physical $42 more than amount owed per EOB. Tried & tried to get to answers. In May, office mgr finally admitted diff was collection fee. Gladly offered to pay over phone per EOB. Also told them Labs I did in their office were billed separately from different entity causing denial of 1 of the bills. They insisted that was wrong?????. Phone disconnected. I left message, but no calls back... Sept, my atorvastatin needed refill. As in past, I needed to see doctor... read more
When I started going to the office, I was very impressed; however, more and more I found that getting to actually see the doctor (even when requesting it) was a monumental task. After a few appointments, you end up constantly seeing a PA. Also, wait times have become longer and longer. Finding a new doctor.
I would definitely recommend him
Very helpful and understanding, kind. Also help me without insurance and change me lower visiting fee I will recommend him to my family & friend
Patel is great! Staff is horrible. No call backs no response to urgent health concerns. I would have loved to say I would recommend Dr. Patel but would not like anyone to have to work with the office staff and lack of response to messages. Maybe I am just use to great providers in the past. Visiting to working with Patel staff was like working with an unprofessional, I do not want to be bothered, rush get off the phone ok ok ok.. I hate writing this review because I really like Dr Patel
Dr. Patel practices medicine the way it should be practiced - friendly, compassionate, great communications, involves patient in decisions after ensuring a complete understanding of the situation, and will accommodate emergencies - even skipped his lunch to stitch a bad cut on my hand. Highly recommended!
