VISIT 1: He was polite, gave detailed description of the two procedures he would do under anesthesia to rule out cancer. No calls from anyone to see how I was doing the next day which is usually routine. Follow-up visit scheduled almost a month away. I called with questions but was refused to speak with him nor did he call me back. I took my husband to the ER with bloody stools. Poonputt Chotiprasidhi, M.D. (aka Dr Eddie) came in, on a holiday, to do an endoscope. He found a bleeding duodenal ulcer. Per the nurses, if Dr Eddie hadn’t found and repaired the large pulsating ulcer John would have coded that night. It took 8 clamps to repair. Dr Eddie was very humbled by our gratitude but we were and still are so very grateful for his skill and dedication. Can’t say enough good things about Dr Eddie.
