I went to the ER for severe pelvic pain. I requested an ultrasound to check for an ectopic pregnancy. She refused to order one and waited 6.5hours to consult with an OB. OB ordered an ultrasound immediately which did indeed show a ruptured ectopic pregnancy with significant internal bleeding. I was prepped for the OR immediately and lost my ovary and fallopian tube due to her negligence!
