Such a GORGEOUS place! We love seeing shows. It's always worth the drive from Sarasota.

This theater is very well equipt as a dual purpose theater space. The interior of both the lobby and theater hall is romantic and modern. The lighting is elegant and moody. A great space for family entertainment just as much as it is for an intimate evening. I had the pleasure of watching the last Wicked performance on the 29th of Jan. The show was fantastic! Saw Wicked with my daughter and it was absolutely amazing. Everyone was very welcoming at the Dr. Phillip Center.

Loved every part of it except the camera gestapo that demanded as soon as anyone walked to their seat that cameras be put away. Thanks but I continued to text my daughter with her standing behind me repeatedly telling me to put it away. This was at least 15-20 minutes before performance started

The theater is beautiful with great acoustics. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the parking is terrible and valet takes forever, even if you pay for VIP. Also the bathrooms have only one way in/out and during intermission when there is a line it's hard to get out, people block the way. Also the men's and women's lines run into each other because they are so close, it just makes it crowded.

We came on Sunday afternoon to see Wicked and were so impressed with everything from the seats to the sets and costumes to the amazing actors!! It truly was an extremely awesome experience! The venue itself is so beautiful and we will definitely be attending more events there!!
