Loved the presentation of Wicked. It was all the other factors that leads towards an exceptional experience. I feel that when the show starts the doors should be locked for late comers as they are in the big theaters in New York. It was very annoying and it takes away from the play. Also, I did not appreciate the forced solicitation for donations at the end of the play. One last major issue, Theater needs to be more friendly to people with hidden disabilities.
Definitely a beautiful building with great team of employees. I wish it had a few choices for dinner before the show. I didn't care for the orchestra in the pit. I have a young son that plays violin, drums and piano. It would of been really neat for him to see them play as they are just as vital to the show. The last thing that I didn't care for was I had a gentleman's head in my way the whole entire show. Not what I expect when I pay $150/ ticket. I would of enjoyed to see the stage and the dancers.
Loved all the shows I have seen so far. Only complaint is how far the parking is. Didn't valet because the line was insane.
The theatre is wonderful but the employees are what make it fantastic. Can't wait to return.
