Hard to describe how lucky we were to be under the skillful care of Dr. Theo at UCSF. Metastatic brain cancer is particularly scary for anyone but very quickly we realized we were in the best place for a very difficult situation. He is a warm lovely man who removed her tumor and preserved the essence of my wife’s mind. He captained the best appropriate preoperative testing and aftercare treatment to insure the very best short and long term prognosis. We are blessed to have UCSF medical professionals in our community!!
My husband was in an auto accident in 2012. He was given a 4% chance of living. When that percentage increased I was told IF he lived he would be like a vegetable. Unable to walk talk or have quality of life. He was in a coma for 7 weeks and when he came out of it he had a blood clot on the brain on top of all the brain shear that he had. Very pleased with my experience pre and post op with Dr. Theodosopoulos. His team was great with following up with me and got back to me quickly with all my questions after surgery. My quality of life has greatly improved thanks to him and the success with my surgery.
