Does not allow for circumstance beyond one's control. I live 30 miles from the dentist, disabled with 6 knee surgeries, 2 back surgeries, and a pacemaker. I had to tow my car and find alternate transportation. I would have been 15 minutes late and this dentist didn't want to see me because I was late. I have very low income and his policy is if late a 50 dollar charge (no exceptions for circumstances beyone one's control) which I cannot afford.
