Dr Hughes has done a knee and a hip replacement for me. Both very successful. He is kind, takes his time, listens, and has been very responsive when I’ve had questions
Dr Hughes did both of my knees with a total replacement. He is an amazing Dr. He’s patient, kind, empathic and has the best listening ear of any physician I know. He goes above and beyond to help you get through the surgery. He’s there all the way to the end!! I recommend him to everyone I know in need of a hip or knee surgery! Kimberly
Dr. Hughes practices medicine the way a doctor should: he is an excellent listener, patient about addressing all questions, thorough in his examination, thoughtful in his diagnosis and treatment plan, promptly returns telephone calls, and caring. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hughes to family and friends.
Dr Hughes is one of the best orthopaedic surgeons in the area. Highly competent and incredibly skilful!
He did arthroscopic surgery on my knee which left me with debilitating pain. I had to go to the Hospital for Special Surgery for relief and the doctors there told me that was the worst possible procedure for my then condition. Dr. Hughes saw the dollar signs and quickly booked me for a procedure which was totally bad medical judgement and I had to get a knee cap replacement at HSS. His arrogant and lackadaisical manner in my treatment was galling.
Dr. Hughes has a most pleasant manner. He never rushes you, & makes you feel secure in your decisions. I think he is very thorough and an excellent surgeon.
