He listens and is realistic about solutions
Dr Kourliss has always provided a detailed explaination of my condition and updates on my blood counts. He makes valid suggestions to upgrade or maintain critial numbers. He is one of my favorite physicians.
I absolutely think he is top notch in his field, up to date on the latest research and was over and above compassionate when meeting with my husband when I was first diagnosed and great all through treatment. I’m in surveillance stage, nearly five years out and the last few times I’ve seen him he has been rushed and short with me. I extend Grace because we all have stuff. But it makes me sad we don’t have the great appointments we used to.
The time that was spent on diagnostics before I ever arrived was refreshing. dr. Kourlas was Knowledgeable & helpful!

Dr. Kourlas is a great doctor. He took time with me and explained everything to me. I would definitely refer family and friends to him.
Dr. Kourlas takes his time his patients and truly partners with them - while guiding them through the challenging diagnosis of cancer. He is respectful and listens carefully to concerns and guides through the side effects of the cancer treatments. He is personable and professional.
Dr. Kourlas was incredible. It has been years since I have seen a doctor that genuinely listens and gets right down to brass tax as far as next steps. I had almost lost all faith in our medical system and Dr. Kourlas and team instilled hope again. Highly recommended... the entire office is a well oiled machine.
