I originally gave Dr. Brooks 5 a star rating because my hip replacement surgery immediately cured the back and hip pain I had been having. But after 7 months of physical therapy and visits to other specialists, X-rays show that post surgery my left leg is 1.5 cm. shorter than my right. I have a permanent limp. When I went to see Phil Golnick about it he kept insisting that the surgery was successful. I never imagined having a hip replacement could be so easy. Dr. Brooks is fantastic. He was recommended to me by my Physical Therapists and they were SO right. Bravo, Dr., Brooks!
Dr. Peter Brooks flawlessely installed a Birmingham hip resurfacing for me about 18 months ago. I'm only 41, but a life of a tradesman can take it's toll. I love being outside, hiking, backpacking, etc. I wasn't able to do those things anymore. I couldn't even make it up stairs without a struggle. Dr. Brooks gave me my life back.
