I was an RTC cadet at UF in 1982 and turn my ACL at boot camp. Thanks to the Doc I completed ROTC, graduated and spent 21 years in the Army. At 53 I finally needed knee replacement but every doctor was impressed by his work and the stability of my knee!
Dr. Indelicato performed a shoulder surgery, rotator cuff repair, on my right shoulder. It Was the worst experience I've had, and I've had multiple orthopedic surgeries. I had to have another doctor fix his botched surgery. And then after the surgery they kept trying to inject me with cortisone. Which became super painful, after realizing it was a botched surgery, had a local doctor from the Jacksonville area. Fix doctor in indelicatos subpar work. I was inspired by a many years later review on Dr Indelicate. I was also a patient over 20 years ago for an ACL reconstruction on my right knee. Fortunately I was an intern at the College of Medicine in Gainesville and had access to this brilliant surgeon. He was amazing - kind, thoughtful and definitely listened to my needs and goals as a 28 year old athletic person. After three failed knee surgeries I was fortunate enough to have Pete operate on me in Gainesville in 1995. On my birthday!! I was in a bad way and 24 years later I'm still grateful for what he did for me. Enough so to look him up, find him and leave a review. Thanks Pete and also thanks to BHG for the referral!!
