Dr. Pernia immediately knew surgery was necessary and repaired my de-gloved pinky finger and place a temporary nail so that the skin would shape correctly when the new one grew back. Also sewed the ring finger nail bed that was lacerated. Most of all he/we prayed before my surgery! I don’t remember the prayer but I know he was the right doctor for me when he did!!!
My husband had cut and broke his index finger we went to ER at Fayette Alabama and they were unable to do anything great care and they called and made arrangements for surgery with Dr Pernia at Northport al when we arrived Dr Pernia came in explained everything he would have to do to save the finger this was after 4 in the afternoon he made sure I was taken care of and comfortable came in after surgery he had tried to call but my phone battery was dead and he even went to get me a charger he it one of must special doctor you... read more
Although this surgery was years ago I had a great experience. Dr Pernia was wonderful and very understanding. He took time to talk to me about any concerns I had. I was very pleased with my breast reduction. As mentioned it's been years and I'm still loving my results!!
