The problem I had with this store was that the Dr. was unable to determine my correct prescription. He just doesn't have the skill set. My prescription changed drastically due to surgery. The surgeon tested my eyes and determined I would have 20/20 vision with the correct prescription. The Dr. here however would not believe it and showed me two lens choices both of which were blurry beyond recognition and asked which was better. How was I supposed to choose? Office staff TERRIBLE. We waited a really long time to be seen. I don't know if there are two secretaries working at Dr.Helmicks office, but one lady was absolutely rude and ignorant. She was yelling at my daughter when she called about a followup. Instead of explaining the reason for additional costs to me in a reasonable tone she was really rude and sharp. I am giving this location 5 stars due to outstanding customer service! I must say, I think they should get a 6th star for the simple fact of having to deal with such characters that go to their store with the whole entitlement attitude. I have been in retail for over 30 years. Those bums need to go back to Princeton and stay there!!!
If i could give the store a zero I would. They have the worse staff every. They have know optical knowledge at all buyer beware.
I found my recent experience whit Pearl Vision to be most satisfactory. The people were helpful and courteous. I needed to have my frames exchanged, and as promised, the gentleman was willing to make the adjustment. Both my husband and I purchased glasses at the smae time, and have been pleased with the service received. Since we are a family of five spectacle-dependent people, we have had years of dealing with opticle issues. PV was one of the best.
Had an eye exam done there by Dr. Wright. He was great to work with, very pleasant, very helpful, cute, and professional. The staff was friendly as well.
The website says that you can return frames within 30 days. It does not say that this offer will not be granted between stores. Found the frames I wanted at another store and the place I originally got the frames said no way. Some stores are company stores and others are franchise - beware you cannot switch stores.

Unprofessional atmosphere, doctor that I saw was dismissive of me. Decided that since my distance vision was good, there was no need to check my close up vision or hear me when I tried to tell him that was the reason I was there. I tried to tell him that traditional reading glasses were not doing the job anymore, but with a wave of his hand I was "dismissed".
