I recently had a back injury and just googled around for spinal Dr's and found one in Woodbridge. Nova orthopedic and spine center. I was assigned to Dr Paymaun lotfi. Him and his team is amazing. His assistant Sohail Safdari is an amazing gentleman. He showed genuine compassion. He treated me like his own brother or son with extreme care and concern about my condition. Im writing this review in utter shock at the other reviews ive seen on this. I was only looking up his name for his phone number to refer yet another family member. Dr Lotfi is not at all what these other people are complaining about. He is a very kind, caring, brilliant surgeon. You may wait some time to see him, but i prefer to wait for those doctors who are really busy and/or someone whos willing to spend the extra time for those patients dealing with very complex issues. I had very bad experience with Dr. Lotfi. I wish I had looked his bad reviews before making appt with him. He is very rude, arrogant and totally disqualified in my opinion. He gave me a bunch of medication to take. When I talked to other doctors about him, they were shocked about his unprofessional treatment. I hope to be a whistleblower with my review. In my opinion he is not even safe to practice and see patients. Make sure to review all the complains about him before making appt with him!
I really feel obliged to share my experience with Dr. Lotfi, hopefully it helps you to make a better decision in choosing your doctor. I was a patient of Dr. Lotfi (however, for confidentiality purposes I don't feel comfortable to release my real name here.) I had Alif back surgery on November 21st of 2017. The day after surgery I went home. My pain level was around 4-5 and primarily because of the incision area. I walked up and stairs slowly and within 3 weeks I was on the elliptical machine for 20 minutes. So I am very thankful for Dr. Lotfi's knowledge and skills and because of him I am pain free. I give the Dr five stars, but office and wait time, not so.
