I had an unfortunate experience. The admissions person was wonderful but I guess it was his nurse or medical assistant that never introduced herself. He prescribed an nsaid thinking it was soft tissue damage but when we found it was a fracture he never told me to stop taking it even though its contraindicated in fractures. Did not tell me to not use crutches or be non weight bearing.I was in alot of pain and didn't know what I was doing wrong, when I called the nurse she just told me to do ice and never gave other suggestion... read more

It was knee surgery and it was great yesterday my knee hasn't hurt but today in in pain

This was my third visit. Doctor Grutter always listens to my complaints, and never makes me feel unimportant. Highly recommend.

Not a long wait to see Dr.Grutter, he is very professional but still very likable and friendly, listens to your problems without hurrying you up, he explains to you the process he thinks that will help take care of your problems in a manner anyone can understand.

Absolutely no bedside manner, never saw or heard from him post tkr, when I went to 2 week follow up, he wasn’t there, maybe the schedulers fault, still very inconvenient to have to travel to Gallatin the next day. He barely looked at me at 2 month appointment, didn’t touch or strength-test the knee. Acted annoyed that I asked about the left knee, just said “there’s some arthritis in it “.
