DONT GO TO DR TAYLOR !! SERIOUSLY For the past 8 years L4/5 L5/6 Have deteriorated to the point I am unable to walk more than 5 minutes without excruciating pain. Today I left Coles in tears as I couldn't walk anymore. I had cervical spine problems 10 yrs ago they put a plate in (a Qsld surgeon) and fixed my pain almost completely. I’m happy that some reviewers have had a good experience with this Doctor. My daughter had her spine damaged during a procedure performed by Dr Taylor. Her life, already difficult due to back issues, became immeasurably worse. She was left with extremely SEVERE pain in her R foot and lower leg. For years she needed special dressings along the pain site to try to make it bearable. Also, she was unable to wear anything on the foot, unable to drive, to work, or to walk without a walker. Absolute waste of time. Was a pain to deal with from start to finish wasted nearl 6 months of dear time, which is lengthy when you're in crippling bed ridden pain from a herniated cervical disc completely squishing the nerve root that made me lose strength and most function in my whole arm. Paul said there was nothing he could do (which is neglect) other than a steroid injection. He is very condescending and unprofessional in my lengthy time dealing with specialists. Very happy with the surgery DR Taylor did on my back recently. It’s early days but happy how early I could get in to see him and book the surgery. He was very honest and a bit blunt but that’s how you need it to be sometimes. The reception staff were so efficient and answered any questions. DR Taylor came to check on me every day and got me out of bed! ThAnkyou and looking forward to how it all turns out in the future.
Had a consultaion, Where he ask me if I was rich? Couldn't understand why. He seemed arogant and didn't let me get much of word in. I asked what procedure would he do for my condition. Then he stated he wouldn't operate on me till I went home a read this book by G. Lorimer Moseley. And if I still wanted to move forward get these bone scans done.
