I am being generous giving even 1 star was put in very dangerous health situation because of Dr. Murphy!!I have been on hormone replacement therapy for almost 3 years now and was looking into urologist closer to me in monroe. He was one I had picked. Well at the time I hadn't had testosterone injection in about 3 months at the time and would be over 6 months before I would be able to see him. I don't have a problem with Dr. Murphy, he's great. But the staff though, do they ever call anyone back? If Dr. Murphy tells you that you need a test or procedure Do Not leave the office without an appointment. The staff will not call you with an appointment date.
We called Dr Murphy's office on August 4, 2025 because my husband had kidney stones and was in excruciating pain. We had been ito ER the night before so we had confirmation of the problem. Jessica says he was with a patient and she would talk to him as soon as he came out of exam room then she would call us back to let us know when Dr. Murphy would be able to see him. Very good experience with Dr. Murphy. It is a shame his office staff is such a poor reflection on Him and St. Frances. From the lack of empathy and compassion for patients circumstances to dropping the ball on time management for updates and call backs on test results and referrals. My conversation with Jessica yesterday went south the minute she answered the phone .
