It's been 2 years this Nov.15, 2021 since I had the Gastric Bypass surgery. Dr. Macik did a good job even though I can't get a hold of him for follow-ups. I was told by Tiffany that he is no longer doing any surgery at this office anymore and that he resigned from this office but he is still practicing elsewhere and had to complete his residency before accepting new patients.
I just found out that Dr. Macik has passed away. He saved my life. May he Rest in Paradise.
Dr. Macik did a wonderful job! I lost a lot a weight and I kept it off until 2010. I was on medicine that caused me to gain 80+ back. I need a revision and found a doctor to do it. I can’t get in touch with Dr Macik to get my records. The hospital no longer has my record. I get a vmail every time I call. I need a working number ASAP, so I can have my records. Great doc but I have the same problem, can't get in in touch with him anymore. Does anyone know if he is still in business in the ATL area?
My wife has been a patient since 2010 and myself since 2016. We have been unable to reach the office and to schedule appts and have no idea where to go to get our medical record. We have comtsxt Northside Hospital and was advised he is no longer practice there and they only have our surgical records, not the office records. Most doctors who takeover care for surgeries such as these, require medical records (office notes), but we are unable to obtain them due to not knowing where they were transferred to.
