I just moved from out of state and was referred to Dr Gawelko from my sister after rave reviews. He has been nothing but helpful in getting my rx transferred and referring me to the best specialist I have been around. 5 stars for this doctor.
I have never been talked down to by anyone, much less a doctor. I’ve been a patient at Honor Health for years and my primary doctor left Honor Health so I saw Dr Gawelko to get a prescription filled which I had been prescribed for years. Dr Gawelko all but called me a drug addict and accused me of busing the depression medication I had been taking for years. He told me to “ween” myself off of the medication as he would not prescribe it again. I’m a 67 year old man with anxiety and depression
I went with my son to see Dr. Gawelko for severe back pain. The first thing the Dr. says when he walks in the room is that he doesn't dispense pain medication from this office. We hadn't even said anything yet. He poked around at his back and had him do some twists and turns, said he thought is was just muscular and didn't think even an X-ray was necessary. We requested one anyway. My son went to school and was still in major pain later so we went to the ER, where he was diagnosed with a UTI.
Worst Doctor I have ever seen. Went in for a "HEAD TO TOE" physical. It was even in writing that is what I was getting and that's what I expected.Nurse was fine, she checked, BP, Pulse, Temp. He came in and he asked me why my BP was up. I'm not a Doctor. All he did was...listened to my heart beat, breathing, Carotid artery, gut,end of physical. Then I went for blood work. No EKG, X-rays, reflexes.he didn't even inquire if I was having any issues. What if I dropped dead the next day? Rich wifey
