My Dad is dead because of him. A four hour surgery turned into a 12 hour surgery (and even then came out with an open chest and had to be brought in the next day to close it) and never once that day....or ever since did he ever talk to us about what happened. His notes said that he estimated that my Dad had a 98% survival rate and he told my Dad basically that he'd be good as new once they corrected the defect. I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.
He did my husbands triple by-pass, As soon as he walked in room I knew I was going to like his personality. He did not disappoint. He walked in with his whole team, explained everything in terms you could understand. Every staff member at Silver had nothing but great things to say about him, including if they/or a family member needed surgery he was their go to Dr.
This wonderful surgeon did my quadruple bypass surgery. He came in to see me later that day and again the next day. My wife and I were very thankful that he performed my surgery. Many people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about him.
Dr.Pappas did my Dads single bipass surgery two weeks ago and he’s recovering beautifully. Thank you Dr.Pappas for making my Dad well again. I owe you everything because my Dads still around. Your an amazing surgeon, and an amazing human being.
I met Doctor Pappas many years ago while I was directing 4 commercials for EHS hospitals and now The Advocate group. He was easy to work with making himself accessible to me in the kindest way. He was called on to do over 36t heart operations that year. As to the negative posts I can only offer my condolences. He is brilliant man and I was not able or would I want to work in his field.
